Our Stone Circle

Trista's Story...
My first visit to a stone circle was in 1996 on a sacred journey to Ireland. I remember waking in the early morning feeling a bit wobbly - the kind of wobble when you know that something is about to change.

Today was the day we were visiting a stone circle. 

I felt unease as I followed the narrow footpath up the hill, past a patch of nettles, to the stone circle perched at the very top looking over both pasture and sea below.

I entered the stone circle with trepidation as my mentor, Helena, located the center of the circle with her dowsing rods. I laid down on the grassy center and within minutes, released an ancient grief that had previously been rooted deep in my bones.
 
Stone circles, built thousands of years ago throughout Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England & France are powerful portals for transformation. They are often aligned with particular constellations and solar gateways.
 
Our stone circle is made of rose granite using a traditional 12-stone model with the 13th as a gateway stone. Placement of each stone has been decided upon while in communication with the divine intelligences woven into the fabric of the natural world.
