The Forest Perfumery at Hawk Circle was born out of the love of scent making, devotion to help others awaken and heal, AND as a social enterprise to help fund Hawk Circle's Forest Youth Programs making them accessible to all children. Hawk Circle is a sacred destination where transformative programs have been a primary focus. We have supported forest education for over 35 years under the non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, The Earth Mentoring Institute.
 

The Antidote to an All-Consuming Digital World

Today, we are living in an era where technology is all-consuming. As screens draw the next generation further away from the earth, children are facing a quiet crisis of disconnection. At Hawk Circle, we believe it is absolutely critical to return children to the natural world. In the forest, they do not just find trees and trails—they find resilience, emotional grounding, self-reliance, and a deep, somatic sense of belonging. Nature connection is not a luxury; it is an essential foundation for a healthy, balanced life.
 

A Regenerative Economic Model

To protect our 35-year mission and ensure our youth wilderness camps and after-school programs remain accessible to all families regardless of financial means, we knew we had to look beyond the fragile, unpredictable cycles of traditional fundraising and short-term grants.
 

The Forest Perfumery is our answer: a visionary, regenerative economic model. By sustainably harvesting wild botanicals from our 200-acre sanctuary, we translate the living intelligence of the forest into premium, artisanal wellness products. But the transformation doesn’t stop in the apothecary.
 

As a dedicated social enterprise, the financial ecosystem we are creating loops directly back into the soil: 100% of the proceeds from The Forest Perfumery go toward funding and anchoring Hawk Circle’s Forest Youth Programs.
 

When you invest in a botanical scent, a wild-pine salve, or a somatic wellness experience here, you are doing more than practicing self-care. You are actively funding a child’s journey back to the earth. It is a closed-loop system of healing: the forest heals the patron, the patron funds the program, and the program returns the child to the forest.
